LaRussa's placement of Vaughn in the 2 hole and the return of Eloy seems to be just the spark the offense needs to get going. Return of Robert will be too. Problem is that the back end of the lineup is virtually worthless.
Sox starting pitching is coming along nicely and looks to be rather dependable.

I have little complaint about today's game other than to say 11 singles and a 3 run HR equaling 4 runs is pretty typical in the large sample size of a team not living up to its potential.

In 100 at bats, Zavala has a .768 OPS. Certainly not worthless. Better than Moncada, Engel, Pollock, and right up there with Anderson.

Eloy seems healthy and has been killing the ball. He may end up having a better year than Robert.

He has said nothing about the Sox and the World Series. In fact, he has said he doesn't care about how far the Sox go in October. He's only reiterated where they are in the standings and how the math says they still might make the playoffs, to which nobody has denied. He's simply posting here has a hateful troll to try and get under my skin. He's a black Caller Bob but as dumb as both of these mongrels are, at the very least Bob is a legitimate Cubs/baseball fan.

Any team that has the amount of injuries the Sox have had over the last two seasons is going to have some issues. I'm of the belief the Sox do not win more than 84 games last year with Renteria at the helm.

TLR was delt another shitty hand but he's played it really poorly so far this season. Another loss or two and I don't think the Sox will have much choice but to fire him. The team has been lifeless and embarrassing and while that's not all the managers fault, somebody is going to have to take the fall if this continues.

To say I'm thoroughly disgusted and disappointed would be an understatement.
