I guess the Sox were long overdue for a game like this.

Better get the rubber game tomorrow.

I can't laugh if only because I only remember Aaron from the early 70s

I love that Singer. Never gave into anyone in that inning. Had poise beyond his years.

Singer is already good, and is going to be really something if his arm can handle it.

Awful day from Yasmani.

But McCann should have been catching Cease anyway.

He has been battling the same injury all season. I honestly think they should've sat him for the 2 Pittsburgh games with the 2 off days sandwiching them. Those 4 days would've been the perfect opportunity for him to heal.

Does he have any history of arm problems? He's not a flame thrower. Most of his fastballs were 92-93. What I loved about him was his poise HE was extremely confident on the mound, worked quickly which I also liked, and never let them see him sweat. 8) 8)

Yep. I said that earlier. I don't get it. Moncada needs his legs to hit and you can tell he is off balance at the plate. He should have been rested and that is on Renteria. I don't care if Moncada wants to play. Renteria is the manager and he has the say so. Another thing. He should have gotten Burdi out of there much earlier. When he went into the game he struggled from the beginning. I said it right away. He was missing high and getting under his pitches which was the reason he got bombed. He should have gotten pulled while they still had a chance in that game.

He's got a couple problems. Getting under his spinners, which you said... and that fastball. I like to call it a hanging fastball. Reader calls it flat. Whatever you name it, the hitters they see it well. You can tell by their swings. And you can tell by the 4 HR in 7 innings work.

No arm problems that I know of. I just assume that most young starting pitchers will have them at some point.

Not necessarily, especially with guys that don't throw 98-100 and/or throw hard change-ups. Singer is what I would call right now a PITCHER contrasted with Cease and other young guys who are THROWERS.

Only one batter, but he has some nice break on his pitches.

Lot movement. Seems like he's more of a pitcher, rather than a thrower.

When it’s ball four it’s ok to miss the sign.

Love having Madrigal out there. He adds a ton to the bottom of the lineup.

I'm really loving Madrigal. When all 4 starters are healthy and Mendick is your utility guy who can play all 4 positions, is there a better infield in this league?

He's very dangerous in the 9 hole as if you're facing him with 2 outs and he gets on, he just flips the line-up over to Timmy.

The reason I thought the Eaton trade was the best of all time was this guy right here.

Not the guy who threw the no hitter?
