So the Sox win tonight and so do theor fans.

You are all winners tonight! Way to go guys! I'm very proud of you.

In terms of the Wild Card, the Sox are 5 games back. And no, I wouldn't bet on the Sox, and clearly, they ain't got no shot at makin' no playoffs. Would rather see them two games back in the division.

Weird to see this, though.

It is readily apparent that many Sox fans have suffered tremendous trauma during and in the immediate aftermath of the 2016 baseball postseason.
Clearly, many of them are angry, and confused, suffering greatly. Many are exhibiting symptoms eerily similar to post trumatic stress disorder.
In an effort to assist those brothers and sisters in need of a place that is safe from mention of that other baseball club, i have created this thread to help them... a thread that is a place in which they may console each other, tell their favorite stories of past baseball glories, and work their way through their anxieties and worries.

The rules are simple:

No one may mention that other baseball club. From this moment forward, no mention of them in any way will be tolerated

Maths may not be checked for accuracy as no answer or opinion is wrong here.

No name calling.

No vaguely baseball triggering behavior.

Thats that men and women. Please... be safe and lets all get thru this together

You really showed that guy from a couple of years ago by not having to work on the holiday!

There are some people who have some serious, serious issues in this thread. And it's not the Sox fans.

We're here for you Frank.
It feels good to just let it all out man. Tell us how the postseason affected you and if we talk our way thru it we can ease your anxieties

I thought it was good they lost?

Anyway, I don't think many Sox fans care about this season. You admitted you never watched or cared about the Cubs from 2011-2014. We're in that boat now.

I'm not drawing a complete one to one comparison. The Sox have two overmatched dipshits helming this rebuild so I doubt it results in winning 100 games and a World Series. The point is that if the team is tanking and telling you they won't be competitive most fans are going to not care about the results of the games.

Hey don't be like that.
Sox are a very good set of people and so are you FavreFan.
Youre all great and the Sox will make you proud... like you make me proud.
