Sox need some bunting practice....

Or take off the bunt sign when a guy who can't bunt is at the plate. That was ugly.

with two strikes

The subdivision is happy and a pompous group of asshole fans can go home miserable.

I hope they left lots of money there for the Chairman

Sox need Melky to get on a tear and stay healthy going into the trade deadline in a couple months.

This team makes no sense. Top five in run differential, run scored, and runs allowed and still two games under .500.

Quintana's a loser. Dragging them down. He's gonna lose to Sale tomorrow too

I would say no Shields and Rodon has been an issue. Covey has been a train wreck.

I went to my first game of the year yesterday. My oldest was studying for finals so I had to get the younger ones out of the house. Great experience on possibly the most beautiful day for baseball I have ever encountered. We also won free Buona beefs so I took a left at the interchange and headed to the suburban mecca of Rosemont after the game for dinner on the house, free fries at Mc Donald's as well which is just down the block from Buona. Throw in the free street parking and I taught those kids the lesson my father taught me.

Tonight feels like one of those games that can change a season. Win tonight and they have to start entertaining the idea of contending this year. I know they'd still be one back of .500 but its a big series win and they'd be at worst 3.5 games behind the Twins, who look good but aren't a juggernaut.

We'll see what happens.

My prediction : Sale goes 8 innings of one run ball, 14k's. Gets the Win

It will be quite a predicament for Hahn to go into the season in a stated rebuild and then end up being just good enough to give doubts come the trade deadline.

Sox had a better record last year and tanked in June and July. Let's see where they are July 1st and then think about whether they can contend for anything.

That team died when they blew that lead in Arlington and everyone knew it.

I'm not going to watch this guy give up another 7 runs while Rick Hahn goes all over town telling people they didn't trade him in the offseason because the offers weren't good enough.

(I don't do trolling ... just reminding folks of that)

I thought Quintana was doing
okay this year .... was I mistaken?

edit: nevermind ... the back-to-back jacks answered my question

It is possible that two people can say the same thing, SJW.
