This team has won back to back games only six times since the 2023 AS break. |

This is funny. 20 games into the season. 8 out of 9 batters White Sox lineup today batting avg .200 or less. |

Two walks with a lot of really bad pitches and a botched rundown to start the game. Can’t imagine the rest of the game being much better. |

Maldonado has an OPS under .200. That's...incredible. |

He also wasn't obviously the problem either. Nowhere near. Though in 2022 that is all anyone ever heard from "esteemed" baseball guys such as the Simple One. |

Larussa wasn't the problem but he was the first real symptom of the real problem. Jerry hiring that turd over the GMs head was a total let's get this tank started moment. Whether it's intentionally or Jerry is old and getting sick in the head I don't know. But yeah, he was brought in to fail. And he did. But the team declining was not entirely his fault. |

I wouldn't trust Rick Hahn to run a hot dog stand. And nothing about his record as "GM" suggests that anyone else should either. He was the chief "architect" of this mess and miraculously he skated criticism for years because the media had a hard on for guys like Kenny and Larussa. He sucked at his job and if Jerry didn't have such a blind spot for his guys he'd have been shitcanned years ago. |

When people believed that his plan was working, they gave him credit for it. When the shit failed, then "miraculously"it wasn't his plan any longer. How convenient. See: The Phantom! Frank Coztansa wrote: Every sane Sox fan wanted Kenny, Hahn, and Jerry gone. ltg isnt a fan but sure is a dumbfuck.

And Phantom Frank referring to anyone as a "dumbfuck" is like a prostitute referring to a virgin as being rather promiscuous. |

Two chiefs in charge and they can just take turns blaming eachother as year after year the team sucks. Not really, but thats fine if you don't understand it. If you can't see that Kenny almost always traded away young guys for a veteran piece, and now Hahn is acquiring young talent then I can't help you. |

Frank Coztansa wrote: You are correct FF when you say that Hahn was the GM. However I do not think he was really "in charge" when those moves were made. Maybe I'm wrong, but as I said Hahn gets the benefit of the doubt in my book.

If the Sox continue to suck for the next 4-5 years, he will deserve and likely get a lot of negative press.
There is clearly a different philosophy in the way of doing things now with the Sox front office. Its basically the complete opposite of what Kenny Williams did for the better part of 11 years. Given that and what Kenny himself has publically said, it leads me to believe that Hahn was NOT 100% in charge of the roster regardless of what his title was. With what you have said in this thread, its pretty clear that you either do not understand that, or you are willfully ignoring things which would make BRick's comments about creating your own agenda correct. |

Frank Coztansa wrote: Keyser Soze wrote: It's too bad but he really is because Hahn handled this bullshit "rebuild" so poorly. This is a baseless opinion that you constantly present as fact. The only fact is that none of us will know how good or poorly this rebuild went until maybe 2020 or 2021. If you know for sure that Hahn handled this rebuild so poorly, then please cite some evidence to back it up. If this is your opinion, it comes off very Elmhurstian in that if the Sox don't win a World Series in the next few years you can come back and say "Oh see I told you so." |
