There was absolutely nothing to see this weekend so I had a baseball free couple of days so what did I do? I went to a baseball game. It was a shitty baseball game but at least I got to see Sonny Gray and future hall of famer Adam Engel's first career HR. Unfortunately I also saw the entire Sox bullpen. Sheesh he likes to make pitching moves.

We have now reached the point where fans should follow management's lead and not pay attention to this season. The only interest remaining should be in trading players. September will have more intriguing on field action than July.

A lot of bad baseball this weekend. They're not supposed to lose three at home to Oakland. None of the relievers did his job yesterday. Holland needs to keep pitching well so they can flip him.

Just a month ago you were lauding Rick Hahn for not tanking. Pick a lane!

That was two months ago when they were in first place but I knew they were overachieving. May was a brutal month. Some fan bases change their postures based on the results of the previous series.

Can't get the Cub game on, stuck watching the chumps instead of the champs... I see Anderson got glasses, Great throw by melky.

That ball didn't make it over the fence by that much that Melky didn't even fucking move. That was some bullshit.

They are TRYING to lose, and doing a great job of it as much as I might disagree with the philosphy

Only a -5 run difference. They've had a lot of bad luck, but the prospects are doing well and they found some keepers on the big league roster.

Been a positive year.

 I look forward to the Sox fans who took Cub fans to task for The Plan to be quick to jump on this tidbit.

- Fulmer has been an absolute turd in AAA
- So has Giloitio outside of his faux no hitter
-Burdi has been average

Mocanda and Kopech have been good, that said, stop the notion that all your prospects are lighting the world on fire. You aren't even close to where the Cubs rebuild was in 2013.

He's likely to have a better career than Gordon Bacon.

Giolito has struck out a guy every inning his last 10 outings. Hansen has been good all year as has Dunning and Collins. You are just being as ridiculous and negative as possible per usual.
