He did not. He was very clear that Kimbrel is borderline unhittable and that his numbers were ‘miraculous.’

Sox don't score here, and this one is over.

They had better get a run here. Or Hendriks is likely to give up a solo walk off

MANY Sox fans didn't want to trade Madrigal for a mid 30s reliever who hasn't pitched under playoff pressure in a while.

Tip your hat. It was a solid pitch low and in off the plate

Yeah , good win. You beat a AAA team, barely, and your shiney new toy looks like shit

Romine threw his bat at it and ran into one. So what. I'm glad it happened. Looks like it pissed us off. For one, it's the hardest I've seen Moncada swing all year.

In fairness, these Jag bags should have had eight runs through the first seven innings.

I honestly feel better about this team than I have in weeks.

A lucky swing didn't knock our dicks in the dirt.

I don’t know that I even wanted them to win that game. They played liked shit against a minor league team. I’d rather they be reminded of that.

Yep to the first two thoughts. Until the 10th. I yawned at the HR. But then they kept going. Don't count out that there's pressure to sweep these pudknockers. If they do, it may be a turning point. Let's hope so anyway. Got 4 straight possible playoff teams coming up.

Maybe it's good Kimbrel got taken down a notch and the roles will be more defined now.

Their starting pitching, with the exception of Lynn, seems like it's coming down to earth. If their starters are not dominant, I don't see them winning a playoff series.

Kopech needs to figure it out.

Crochet needs to increase his velocity. Throwing a straight 96-97mph, aint gonna work.

Keuchel was fine the other day. He wasnt the problem.

Crochet is 22. He'll learn.

Kimbrel had a Cubs 6 era before regaining his dominance this year. If he can regain it so fast, he could revert back to the 6 era guy fast.

Totally agree. I have my reservations on Kimbrel, but that was a good pitch. It happens.
