It's been rumored that Cespedes will be opting out of his contract with the Mets. I'm going to assume wants to stay in NY and is using it to get more money out of them. He would fit with the Sox. However, this year signing him requires losing a draft pick.

If Lawrie has a good first half (which he could easily have) his utilty as a 3B and 2B would have deadline value, and really unless the Sox manage to pry some stud like Moncada or Bregman in an offseason trade there is nobody really in Lawrie's way to get 1st half playing time. So I'm guessing there's a serious injury problem there if they do wind up cutting bait. Lawrie is not a bad player when healthy.

Also, trading Robertson and/or Jones in the offseason is a mistake.If Robertson has a hot start to the season he'll command a bounty in July. Think something just like the Ken Giles, Aroldis Chapman, Andrew Miller hauls..the risk of course being Robertson sucking more and being worthless but the opportunity is too great.

Well he has to be put up some serious numbers to get to that level, but I fully expect him to be lights out now that the team isn't expecting to win. If he puts up stud reliever numbers there's no reason he doesn't get at least a Ken Giles level return, if not more.

Now he gets a fringe-y prospect at best, maybe a little more from a desperate team like the Giants. So I think its better to hold him and see where he's at in July.

And we don't know if part of Hahn's plan is shedding salary. IF he is trading Sale/Flavor Fraz, is he looking to trade Quintana?

[Chris] Sale was mentioned, [Carlos] Rodon was mentioned and all the others, but not Quintana.” Reports have the White Sox ready to listen on any player who isn’t under long-term control, though Quintana technically doesn’t fit this description. He is under contract through 2019 with a club option for 2020, and given how Quintana has pitched during his career, that early-career extension has become a bargain for the Sox. Rodon’s inclusion is interesting, as the highly-touted lefty can’t hit free agency until after the 2021 season, though just because Rodon’s name may have been mentioned in discussions obviously isn’t any sign that Chicago is exploring trades.
