To be fair, he was working in the front office for the Royals. I was thinking this was a Ventura-like hire.

The former director Nick Capra is now the third base coach. Getz couldn't possibly be worse than that clown.

This is a really weird Reinsdorf Family hire. Most of them, I get, but this guy was only here for a few years and didn't do anything. What exactly are they rewarding?

Really. Hiring a guy from within the division who has experience is a total non-Sox move.
