I don't get it. What do these fuckups contribute to the team?

Lawrie took a big ole haircut in arbitration. You have to be really fuckin bad for that to happen. Fuckers going cheap.

Lawrie is fine. He really looked like he was turning it around last year until the injuries hit, he's a decent defender and he goes through spells where he can really hit. If Hahn and Kenny decide to tear everything down we could do a lot worse than Lawrie as at least an acceptable starting 3b or 2b for team looking to punt 2017. $3.5m is about the going rate for a guy like that, and if he stays healthy he can easily play well enough to be a deadline trade candidate or someone factored in as a bench player going forward.

Garcia OTOH is a DH that cannot OPS over .700. I dont get it with Avi, I really dont.

Where's Lawrie going to play? Anderson and Saladino are better IMO.

They aren't going to move Tim Anderson anywhere anytime soon.

If Frazier leaves and they dont go the Astros (and thus Bregman) route with Sale they likely will have holes at both 2B and 3B, Saladino and Lawrie can play both positions.

Exactly! ...Anderson is better than Saladino, Saladino is better than Lawrie..no spot for this clown, its been well known he's not very good and annoying as fuck in the clubhouse.. Makes no sense IMO.

I'd take Sanchez over Lawrie as well

I don't really have a problem with Lawrie. If he can stay on the field, he will be fine.

Avi needs to be put out to pasture.

There's no reason Avi needs to be on this (or probably any) team. He brings nothing to the table apart from being able, once a season, to cobble together a two-week hot streak. A career .1 WAR player.

Lawrie move makes sense if they are going to trade Frazier.

I know everyone wants to embrace our new rebuilding overlords but Frazier really is the only guy left they have to move during the off season to maximize return

What about Quintana? Abreau? Robertson? Cabrerra? or Eaton? If it's a rebuild most or all should be shopped along with Frazier and let the team lose a bunch in the short term and build up a great base that can contend in a few years. Half-assing a rebuild makes no sense. Either you do it all in, or it's not going to work as well in the long run. By the time the young players are reaching their prime, guys like Cabrerra, Eaton, Abreau, Frazier, and Robertson will no longer be capable of helping them to contend anyway.
