State income taxes can't make THAT much of a difference?!?

I think they can when you're pulling down $20 million a year.

W NE is actually not so bad. Ever been to Sidney? Its the home of Cabela's. Scottsbluff is worth seeing and so is the north...beautiful escarpments and cliffs coated in ponderosa pines. North Platte even has the world's largest railyard! You do have to watch out a little the closer you get to Pine Ridge though.

I would have thought Bigfan started this thread if it was in all caps.

The title is very Bigfan-ey.

A HUGE hurdle of block buster deadlin deals are the bugetary constratins team have. ALL ThREE have bargain contracts and will be in HIGH DEMAND to tip (unlike Pippen) the scales for a contending team.

Let desperation sink in!! for buyers than begin negotiating selling these 3 assets. Jones espescially is a guy who shouldn't not be sold until the deadline!!!

I agree. It's good to see Kirkwood has improved as a poster.

Does Abreu have another kid that they can import?

The kid storyline was good copy, but Abreu was hurt and playing through it. Guy was hit by a bunch of pitches, and he sat a few games. Avoided the DL though and toughed it out.

I'm really not keen on trading Abreu either. If someone gets really aggressive and wants to blow the Sox away...fine...but I doubt that happens. Teams interested in Abreu can be referred to Frazier, but they may have to wait until Turner signs to do that.

Trade everyone who won't matter in 4 years.

Are Papi Hidalgo and Julio Cruz still on the payroll?

If so, ship them out too.

Load up on young talent. Trade all these guys, especially Quintana who will garner the biggest return obviously of those remaining.

Get what you can for Robertson, Frazier, Abreu and Melky. Jones also has value so they should get a good return for him.

Bottom line is go all in for the rebuild. Trade all the vets then sign some reclamation projects who can be dealt at the deadline.
