Jose Bautista, Josh Donaldson, Brian Dozier, Jonathan Lucroy, Charlie Blackmon, Nelson Cruz...I could keep listing guys forever who took until their mid-20's (or later) to figure it out. Do you know for a fact that Matt Davidson cant replicate that kind of success? Are you seriously ruling out any possibility whatsoever that at the advanced age of 25 his best baseball is behind him? I can almost assure you Todd Frazier walks at the end of the year, and even if he doesn't how comfortable are you paying tens of millions per year for an aging slugger who cant make consistent contact?

Let Davidson sink or swim, you'll know by June whether he can play or not and by then Moncada will be pushing Saladino off 2nd base.
