I'd go on a date with him but not ready to commit.

you go to drink beer in the outfield concourse, not watch games!
  I do both. And I'd rather walk out to "Sweet Home Chicago" than Ramsey Lewis.
Truth. I've seen it. JOrr and his henchman probably know more about the game in progress than that dope in the M&Ms jacket sitting 30' from the plate.

OK this is literally false. Before you take such a hardline against something could you at least be bothered to use Google?

Jose Bautista, Josh Donaldson, Brian Dozier, Jonathan Lucroy, Charlie Blackmon, Nelson Cruz...I could keep listing guys forever who took until their mid-20's (or later) to figure it out. Do you know for a fact that Matt Davidson cant replicate that kind of success? Are you seriously ruling out any possibility whatsoever that at the advanced age of 25 his best baseball is behind him? I can almost assure you Todd Frazier walks at the end of the year, and even if he doesn't how comfortable are you paying tens of millions per year for an aging slugger who cant make consistent contact?

Let Davidson sink or swim, you'll know by June whether he can play or not and by then Moncada will be pushing Saladino off 2nd base.

Alternatively known as "not 26".

Then you would say "entering his age 26 season" not "he is 26 years old"

I think when you are talking about athletes, you can say "he is 26" and people get the gist of it. This is really trying to split tiny, tiny, tiny hairs.

don't exaggerate. Frazier hit .225 last year.

In a perfect world Frazier's worst season is Davidson's upside. It's ridiculous to be concerned with whether this bum gets another chance.

You act like this guy has been given a bunch of chances already like Avi. He got his first shot with the MLB club last year.

Your fate for this year is in front of you yet you refuse to accept it. This will only bring you pain.

Q dominant in WBC. 5 2/3 no hitter on a strict pitch count against Team USA. He did not get a win though.

Nice start...single on first pitch, throws the ball away on a steal attempt at 2nd, double to score a run

Split squad today so not seeing all the regulars. Good to see some of the prospects though.

Agreed. Hawk is just too cranky and his interactions with Stone don't seem interesting anymore. I think this should be his last year.

Maybe Leury Garcia should stick to pitching. He is having an awful inning.

Benetti is the best free agent signing this team has made the last couple seasons

14 runs in the top of the 9th last night!

This team is going to play entire 3 and 4 game series where they won't score 14 runs total.
