At this point, its silly to not have Davidson playing just about everyday. DH, 3rd, 1st, doesn't matter....just get him in the lineup. |

Yesterday gave you some insight into why he does not start against RHP. Still, I'd be please if he developed into one half of a good 3B platoon. |

Davidson should be starting against more RHP. But I'm sure there's a subset of about 25% of the RH starters where their stuff and ability to locate is just going to be rough. I'd still sit him for a couple of months against that segment, let him get confidence against the other teams' #3/4/5 starters who are righties. |

Just saying....A team like the Dodgers, who struggled against lefties last year, might have interest in a player who can destroy southpaws. The Cubs also had less success against lefties last year and a guy who hits lefties really well was on my offseason list for them, yet they didn't really address that at all. The Sox might be able to get a good prospect from a contending team that has an acute need for the specific ability to hit lefties that Davidson may possess. But again, he has to have a greater sample size for teams to buy in. But by the trade deadline, he will have had enough of a sample size. |
