Giolito isn't looking bad. Except that pitch to Cain

Yeah, he looks good....I'm trying not to get too excited for next year, but....well, there may be light at the end of the tunnel.

Backup catcher who has hit better than expected. Good catch and throw guy. Real good athlete. Played QB at Pitt. I like him.

QB at Pitt!

So the Sox went 10-9 against the Royals....and basically (as someone pointed out to me) kept them from making the playoffs.

At least that's how I'm looking at it.

Timmy is a great story. I have so much respect for how he carried himself this year. He went thru a lot of shit and will come out of it a better player and better person. Skies the limit for how great he can be.

He should carry a glove all off-season. Maybe by Spring he will have learned how to use it.

"Alexa, how many errors does Tim Anderson have?"

Barry Larkin had more early in his career and he turned it around. Not saying he will but it's possible with young players.

But Anderson sucks even without committing errors

I was at the game last night, see Lopez struggling in the 5th and no one warming up in the BP. Come the 6th, he comes out again and is struggling again, finally they start warming someone up. WTF Ricky?

Nice running on the basepaths by Anderson right there, though. He frustratingly inconsistent.

Fitting that Tim Anderson and his .277 OBP makes the final out of the season.

On the whole I think I enjoyed this season more than the past 3. We saw some flashes from guys who will need to be contributors in the future.
