Let Davidson play the rest of the season every day. Give him 500 PA and make sure he's not good after that. There is simply zero reason in a season like this not to do that.
Another RBI hit in the first today. He should play at least 4 out of every 5 games.

I'd never seen a guy drop a ball and then almost step on it

Great series. They really played some good ball out in Seattle.

I enjoyed hearing the Wimperoo too. Hawk and & him still have it.

Yeah, they definitely do. That was fun.

I'm not into Twitter at all, but I was surprised to see so many anti-Pacioreks. Someone called him "Hawk's little ass-kisser." Whatevs....

You do realize he was born with cerebral palsy?

Yes. Not sure how that's relevant

I used to think so as well, but Hawk seems to be appreciating him for what he is. And Hawk sounds invigorated even a day later

Yes he does. But Paciorek is a two-sport athlete who doesn't have anything to prove to anyone...I think he's just a nice guy who likes to be a little goofy. But he's definitely not a kiss-ass.

Paciorek is my favorite Sox broadcaster since Harry and Jimmy. The guy was always a knowledgeable listen who presented his information in a fan friendly manner. He is also a funny guy.

Boy they are really trying to pound this narrative home about how hard these guys are playing. They go on about it every fuckin night. They played hard last year too they just weren't any fuckin good just like this year. I wonder if this bullshit is coming from the front office.

No they didn't.

They aren't a World Series team, but the '17 Sox are better than the '16 Sox. You do not honestly think that a Ventura managed team that was trotting out Pelfrey & Covey every 5th game would have as many wins, do you?

They push that phony narrative every year.

I think Hawk realized awhile ago that he screwed up the partnership years ago and is now happy to see Paciorek.

The last couple of years in their original pairing, I remember their broadcasts being lifeless, if not toxic thanks to overbearing Hawk. But I had the games on all weekend even as just background filler because they almost sounded joyous, even with Stone back. But 16 run explosions helped a bit too.

Sox definitely trying harder this year. Ventura was so bad they lost all will to make money support their families. I heard MANY of them were thinking of becoming fire fighters.

May 24, 2016 the White Sox were 27-19 in first place in the division and people were pretty happy with how they were playing.

I cannot remember the facts around Paciorek originally leaving but I thought there was word that Hawk stabbed him in the back.

it is why Quintana is a real mfer to count on to win games. He frequently relinquishes leads.

he's pitching much worse this year with runners in scoring position...

i guess he relinquished leads last year in a few big games, but those leads were only one or two runs (at least early in the season; i couldn't really find a stat about this)
