Dunning over Hansen?

Oh yeah. Dunning is a starter all the way. Hansen profiles as a reliever.

Wasn't the same said about Gio Gonzalez?

Two completely different pitchers. Gio is an undersized lefty and Hansen is an oversized righty. Gio was able to fix his mechanics to throw enough strikes. I don't think Hansen will be able to do that.

6 innings of 1 hit, no walks 10 K ball against the most talented roster in AAA for Lopez. Very nice.

The Sox have a lot of talented minor leaguers now, so there will be a lot of "great" nights on the farm...but this one is legitimately encouraging except for Giolito's start.

If you're going to live and die with every minor league game for the next 2-3 years beat them to the punch and fit yourself for a straight jacket.

Eloy just went nuclear.

Draft Brady Singer next year and this first 8 pitchers in 2020 would be potentially electric:

SP Rodon
SP Kopech
SP Singer
SP Dunning
SP Giolito / Hansen
RP Burdi
RP Cease
RP Lopez

I really love Rutherford for so far. He's got what it takes to be a plus-plus defender in left and if he can manage a .350 obp with doubles power that is more than enough for me.

IF 1/3rd of those prospects "Hit" you've got a fucking crazy rotation!

What type of hitter is he?

Seen comparisons of Rutherford as a hitter to Matt Carpenter.

I'm not doing this but I'm not watching the MLB club either. Honestly, I'd be much more interested in watching the minor league games...the straight-jacket would be needed for those actually watching the White Sox play. BAD.

I'm thinking about getting the minor league package next year. My friend and I have a trip planned to see a AAA game.

There probably won't be too much hitting in Charlotte next year. You'd really need to bank on seeing one of the starters.

Yeah, outside of the two Cubans and Avi, I don't think there is going to be much hitting in Chicago either

Kopech, Hansen and Giolito all had outstanding starts.

Lopez I think is being recalled to the Sox.

Giolito should stay down all year, IMO. Kopech and Hansen should get promotions.

Has Giolito turned the corner? Haven't seen his recent numbers, but I had assumed that he's the most major league ready of the minor league talent, but I I hadn't taken into account that they were working on his delivery mechanics.

Is he a good bet (along with Lopez) to open the season in Chicago?

How are away is Kopech at this point? Does he need another season to build up innings or can he potentially make the team next season on some innings limit?

Hard to be optimistic when it's looking like we're 3+ years away at best. Most likely gonna fail completely and be another decade.

Eloy should be good though.

Watch that Eloy ends up being the only guy to hit big for the Sox. Meanwhile we get to watch Quintana lose close games for a couple years before he signs with Texas or something.

We're going to need four left fields.
