Since the middle of July, through 6 starts and 41 innings, Kopech has a 0.66 ERA and 1.55 FIP, 11.85 K/9, 1.54 BB/9, 0.22 HR/9 and a 0.680 WHIP. |

I am not for pushing these guys along too quickly, but there is no reason that Pelfrey or Holland need to make another start for this team. Those two guys would get outpitched by John Danks at this point. Kopech, Dunning, Giolito, Hansen....whoever. At least they can get 5 or 6 starts worth of MLB experience under their belts. |

If anything, the biggest black eye he has with the Cubs is the present season. |
