Do other rankings agree with Law's analysis?

If so, why would teams be so interested in a player who wouldn't have a top 100 ranking?

Klaw is the only list that matters.

It's not a knock if he's not initially on the list. It's ok. Let him actually play and evaluate him then. I'm sure he'll make the list at some point.

Perhaps, but isn't there enough video/visability on him already? I've heard he could have a quick rise to MLB also. I did see somewhere else that he could be a top 25 on that list so not sure the disconnect (or if my information was bad).

This is a strange comment given the thread. Reinsdorf is a cheap owner. This is pretty much a fact. In this case the Sox weren't cheap though.

He said it in his last chat.

Tommy Wright: Luis Robert – how high will he be in your top 100 and do my Padres have a shot at him?

Keith Law: I don’t know if he’ll be on it at all. Every team has a shot at him unless they’re locked out of the international market for this period.

This is about as reliable as your source on Robert signing with the Cardinals. He said that he did not know. I've seen other places put Robert as the third best prospect in the organization. If that's the case he's below Moncada and Kopech, but above Giolito and Lopez. That would put in in the top 30-40 prospects in baseball range.

Going off that answer, Law is either an asshole or doesn't really know shit. My sister could've given that answer.

But yeah, most places have him ranked right behind Kopech right now. Keyser should start reading more analysts besides Law.

From what I have read I would put him ahead of Kopech or any of the other pitchers.

He would be in laws top 100 if he signed with the cardinals

All the Sox prospects are gonna be Hall of Famers! Give it up for Henry "Hank" Robert!

I forgot what the Cuban age rule was. Is it add 5yrs to what the guy claims? So Robert is 24 based on him saying he is 19?

Law doesn't know shit. He's an entertainer, not a baseball guy. He was run out of the only front office he ever worked in.

If you ever find yourself around baseball people in a casual setting do yourself a favor and bring up Keith Law's name. Their wisecracks about him are non-stop.

Not true. Reinsdorf ALWAYS spends money when he needs to. From Jordan and Belle to Rose. Hell he was willing to participate with everyone for Kobe.

Bolded part is patently false.

No it's not. The Sox play in the third biggest market in the country and look at their payrolls since he's been an owner. The Bulls are one of the best selling and most profitable teams in the NBA. Look how often he's paid the luxury tax. He's a cheap motherfucker when it comes to owners.
