So far he has been. Might not end up that way at the end of the season, but I sure hope he's figured things out and can be a great player for the Sox. |

That would lesson his trade value I would imagine. Avisail Garcia, the leader in swinging strike percentage for batters with over 400 PA last season, agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal. |

Baseball reference had him as "earliest free ajent- 2020". I don't know if that means before or after the 2020 season. |

The White Sox control Garcia only through the 2019 season. He is an UFA for the 2020 season. 2017 was his 2nd arbitration year. |
