Cards are interested. http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/redso ... story.html I really dont know how to feel about it, but an Avi-for-Reyes swap does intrigue me quite a bit. |

If I can get C Carson Kelly and RHP Luke Weaver for Avi, I jump all over that deal. Kelly is hitting really well and is good defensively, 22 and ready for mlb. Weaver is 23 and tearing up the minors, also major league ready. Reyes is out due to Tommy John surgery, right? |

Can't do it. I know "trade away your best players for players who aren't as good" is a popular team building strategy among some fans, but I dont like it. |

If the Cards want to part with a few good prospects, I'll drive Avi to the airport. I don't trust him to have this kind of season two years in a row. |
