 Just kidding. This dude can hit and doesn't need at bats off of some some silly AAA pitchers to get himself "right in the head"

Well he had 8 seasons in the minors including 4 at AAA. He is also striking at in more than 40% of his at bats.....

To be fair, there's less pressure playing for a last place team.

Now we see the genius of Maddon trying to put the Cubs there too.

Wrong on many levels. First off, a strike out cannot advance a runner. Second, an at bat with a strikeout means the pitcher fooled the batter. While the guy putting the ball in play is likely to make an out (BABIP), he is pressuring the defense and giving himself a chance for a hit.

If your son was at the plate, would you rather have him strike out or put the ball in play?

Oh, I'm already done with Maddon because he hasnt single-handedly made the Cubs great this year.

Kyle Schwarber is 24. When he was 24, Matt Davidson slugged .375 in AAA. I wish I could say this is a bit, but I really think Sux fans ARE this fucking dumb.

Davidson certainly has "found it" so far despite the high K rate. I'm a Cub fan, but nice to see this guy produce. Schwarber will be fine.

What if a swinging third strike gets away from the catcher?
