Probably.

Rodon will probably end up better. But if they both died today, it's Schwarber without question.

My boy Carlos can't find the plate tho. Too many 3-0 counts.

It's not dumb. Strikeouts matter more than just about anything for a pitcher. It's the rrason Javy Vazquez is better than Buerhle.

Yeah but so do you and me.....and the rest of this board.
I'm pretty sure JOrr pitched in an ALCS back in the early 80s when his partner Stan was manager for the Angels.

4.7 career fwar compared to 2.1 career fwar. Rodon has been more than twice as good as Schwarber!

Yeah, but you're like Richard Simmons, whereas, I'm under the radar. Off the grid.

You're only attacking me because you hate yourself imo.

I bet Hahn would have said no to Jimenez and Cease for Rodon.

You may think this is cute, but you're actually helping my argument. Both Rodriguez and Rodon have the same winning percentages after the game as they did prior to it. I wouldn't say either one outdueled the other.

But you seem to be suggesting that somehow Rodon "deserved" to win. And I don't understand such thinking when there were pitchers on the other side who allowed the same amount of runs as he did while he was in the game. And to carry that out to a larger sample, if the other pitchers that are in the games you pitch at the same time as you are have a lower collective ERA than you do over that time, how fucking good could you really be?

He didn't have his best stuff and he still held the Astros in check. I really hope the Sox and Boras can find common ground and Rodon will be here for the long haul.

If that's the case it would likely be the first time the Sox and Boras agreed to a LT contract.

He will follow the money. The Sox payroll will be so low next year it would be a perfect time to front load a contract buying out a year or two of FA.

Sox fans content with a guy sporting a losing record (1-4) as the future flagbearer of the rebuild. Sad!
