Peter Puck wrote: Up to a robust .225 with a 3 for 3 so far today. Seems like he's replaced walks with hits. In sept he's raised his batting average .37 points but his opb only went up about .12 Still at the end of the day, you'll take a .343 obp |

Fuck! His average might be higher than Bryant's before this game is over. |

Did anybody see the ERAs of the Tigers pitchers? I think the Sox pitcher could have gone 3-5 against those bums. 6.42, 4.68, 6.23, 13.50, 11.37 |

Another reason is Kansas City. It's like they were suddenly switched to the NL Central. |

The crown jewel of the rebuild can barely hit his weight against some of the worst pitching in the history of baseball. His infield counterpart looks like that idiot Schwarber in the field. The closest thing to a real major league pitcher looks like the next Mark Prior. They have probably the worst team in the history of the franchise lead by a manager who makes Bevington look like LaRussa. And they're going to compete next year. It's official. Sox fans have become Cubs fans. |

Probably the worst in the history of the franchise. Not even close. And I'll take Ventura as a manager over the Cubs discarded trash that can't wait to bunt with two strikes. But if you want to morph into Cubs fans and admire their failed manager by all means become one of them. |

He will be replaced if/when someone better becomes available. |

Unless there's some world beater, can't-miss prospect out there, it doesn't matter. They just have to draft great, like Theo did. |

Is it me or does his moving to the 2 spot coincided with Abreu getting hot? Last month I figured Abreu had no shot at 100 RBI. |
