When he goes to the bullpen they have to let him go back to pitching like his hair is on fire.

Hadn't really paid any attention to him but there is literally nothing that is promising about him. He might be the worst SP in all of AAA or AA ball. He's 5'11" though, so he has that going for him.

Bust. His velocity was down from college pretty much the moment he signed with the Sox.

I said he'd give up 8 runs in 2 innings. I was overly optimistic.

Total waste of a pick. Anyone could see it the first time he pitched last year.

There's a useful pitcher in there they just have to give up on the idea that he's a starter. He's got stuff so move him to the pen and let him blow it out.

I watched a lot of it...doesn't he remind you motion wise and look wise of Clippard?

He has such a hardcore delivery, you'd think if he could control his changeup he'd get a lot of guys out...

I didn't see him last night. He had a 7.00 ERA in his last 17 AAA starts so I took a pass.

He was up to 96. The command is an issue that's why they need to rework his mechanics. It will never be plus but should be good enough in short stints.

I dunno if he's got the stuff to be a stuff pitcher. You'd certainly know better than me, and I hope he does, but . . . it just does not look good. He's got a lot to learn.

I read on twitter, Kevan Smith claims he has a closers mentality.

Oh my God, Keyser is the last person on earth that Hahn should be listening to.

Great draft pick...again!

Did you plagiarize that from the Schwarber thread?

If Schwarber doesn't rebound in 2018 or beyond, most Cub fans will rationalize it wasn't a good draft pick. Juxtapose that with Sox Nation, who are JUST THRILLED the 8th overall pick in the draft is "kinda not so shitty" as a reliever. You know why Kenny/Hahn have job security? It's because of their fanbase that get's appeased by the slightest minimal accomplishment.

Pretty sure you have that attitude confused with the fanbase of your team.

Maybe the hard-boiled Cooper really is worth his weight in gold. Fulmer since his recall: 16.2 IP 3 ER 9 H 6 BB 17 K 1.62 ERA 0.900 WHIP. I should have learned my lesson calling him a bust at 23 y.o. You'd go broke betting against this bunch when it comes to developing pitching.

Truly one of the most baffling things I have seen in baseball. This guy was putting up James Shields type numbers in AAA! Still could be random luck though.

If he has two more good starts this fall, I'll feel much better in the spring. I'll more fondly remember his career at Vandy

Sad that the under .500 Cubs make you lash out at Carson Fulmer. Weak trolling.
