Perhaps so. But he and I have had a running discussion about Fulmer and I think his last post to me was in regard to him.

Of course Kopech is and will be a starter.

But Fulmer is a bullpen arm.

Kopech had one terrible start with 8 ER.

The other two were two runs over 3 innings and three runs over 6 innings. That is not great, but it is not "getting shelled" either.

And you conveniently left out that he gave up a total of 5 ER over his first four starts. Kopech has also struck out 53 while walking just 19 over 40.1 innings of work this season.

I was told that Fulmer having a successful start is a bad thing. So if Kopech has a bad start then it's a positive in the logic of RFDC.

I was told that Fulmer having a successful start is a bad thing. So if Kopech has a bad start then it's a positive in the logic of RFDC.

And if he were in the Cubs system you would be jerking it to him. He just turned 22, and he's averaging more than a strikeout per inning. Best to focus on a two game stretch where he walked 8 people though. Yeah.
