I'm worried about his power. |

Rick is almost always wrong and yet he's one of the only posters on the board who predicted Schwarber's struggles this year, and Cub fans still wanna argue it. Very sad. |

Carson Fulmer has not pitched well this year but I think they are going to use this spot start to get him up here before giving him a bullpen role in MLB. He'll excel at it and be considered the steal of the draft |

He'll excel at it and be considered the steal of the draft I agree. He will be in rare company as a top 10 pick who was able to become a middle relief steal. |

Andrew Miller, Archie Bradley and Carson Fulmer. |

Yeah, Archie Bradley, what a steal. Much better than drafting Lindor, Springer, Fernandez(RIP) or Sonny Gray. |

Here's some video of Fulmer from Team USA the summer before the draft and from Vandy. You can see the up tempo delivery and lots of moving parts. He had a drop and drive delivery but got very little extension so his fastball would flatten out though at that level he was able to just throw it by guys. He would mix in a few 2 seamers but that was mostly to lefties. He did a good job of changing the tilt and velocity on his curveball but had trouble commanding it. His changeup was really good with lots of deception coming out of that up tempo delivery though he also had trouble commanding that pitch too, It will be interesting to see the changes they made to his delivery and how much it has affected his stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-ugAofd9sg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5aPDtN7Wrc |

This guy is a bum, he's going to get walloped tonight. Why reward a guy who's getting his dick kicked in AAA a call-up. That organization is all fucked up. |

Yeah they really slowed him down. Still has a lot of moving parts and he doesn't stay tall over the mound. |

He was getting his ass handed to him in Charlotte...what is the mindset of your FO by calling him up? That's all going to "go away" ? |

This was a sink-or-swim start (they already knew the answer) to justify moving forward with him in the bullpen next year and ending the starter experiment. |

Looks like he also failed the bullpen experiment. |
