Wish he would’ve gotten to 3,000 hits then they couldn’t keep him out. I think he’s just short stat wise . Hall of VG.

Probably by being consistent (rather than flashy) while with the White Sox and the Rangers for the bulk of his career. He also played (mostly) before the roids era.
