Went down to Camelback with my wife and a buddy and saw a couple of games. Gioletto(sp?) looked like crap as did most of their pitchers. Its going to be a long long season pitching wise. Ventura was strolling around with Ferguson Jenkins looking like two guys from a beer league. Both friendly, though, and were good with signing autographs for kids.

Yeah I get why they thought they needed him. But now there is no reason to keep him. If you didn't have Palka then he would be a fine veteran to have around. But they need to figure out if Palka is part of the future or not. Going to be really hard to do that with no position for him. But maybe all this is leading up to JORR being right and Palka will be an all star for another team

Maybe this team can win 73 games. Their pitching is among the worst in all of baseball and they lack quality players in the outfield and catching. This is going to be another lost season where fans will be watching what is going on in the minor leagues and shading their eyes for what goes on with the big club. All while their cheap assed owner counts his millions.
