Can we talk about how he has an ERA down in the low 3's win a 4-1 record? I think he's going to get more W's in a Sox uniform than Quintana will get in a Cubs one. I'd like to see him lower that WHIP, but he's getting more efficient this year and consistently seeing the 6th inning. I just love his stuff though. That slider comes in at almost the same speed as Keuchel's fastball while Cease's own fastball is high 90s and when he can hit his spots, he's filthy. |

the kid's got the stuff, now it's just a big giant headgame to see if he can keep it together while out there on the mound. i'd read me and the spitter by gaylord perry if i was him to get that little bit of mental edge. |

He has taken a lot of strides since coming up about a year ago. I feel his confidence is just getting stronger with each start and it shows. |

He needs to stop that leg whip. He doesn't do it much but enough that I'm concerned. 96 is plenty, young man. I'm going to comp him to Scherzer. He can get you out both in and out of the zone. Miggy wanted no part of him last night |

TLDR = #JORRWasRightAgain ask that old jets coach..... herm? HELLO! YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME! |

He has really good stuff, and avoided the big inning last night. It would be nice if he could beat a team that isn't the Tigers though. |

Pitching takes time. All goes well healthwise, he's a beast next year. I hope they show patience with Dunning. He's going to get rocked on a regular. Just let him fight through it. He's a pitcher's pitcher. He'll figure it out. |
