As I said, anything you got from him was gravy, and you had a lot of extra helpings. He has looked incredible. By all accounts, he is also a pretty good dude. It is a shame when health hinders a career.

why is management not telling Larussa to limit Keuchel's innings so that they don't get that 4th year triggered?

I know the Sox are a cheap franchise but that would be bad even for them. He needs about 25 innings over roughly 7 more starts. Messing with a guys contract heading into the playoffs probably wouldn't go over well.

I doubt thats the case. If it was, why would he have been sent out for the fifth inning on Saturday after he had given up 5 runs over the first four innings?
