Yup

I wish we could keep Hendricks off the fucking field

correct. That was such a dumb move. It doesn't matter if Eloy ends up being great, Q was really bad.

I thought he looked a little out of shape coming into this season.

Do the Sox not have exit interviews with these guys at the end of each year with recommendations for the off season and professionals that could help them?

I suppose when he comes back this year it will be zero time in the OF with Pollock taking the majority of LF innings. That part is ok.

This is the same team that said nothing to Gavin Sheets about changing positions, in order to get a shot at the big leagues. I really do wonder if they have plans laid out for players.

I wonder if it would be legal to sign young guys to full year contracts, keeping them at a team facility in the off season to insure proper training, diet and commitment to their job. Pay them extra and include housing.

Maybe it’s their culture. Why would you try to infringe on that?

It’d be nice if he just transitioned to his fat phase and slowed down on these soft tissue injuries. Those are for the fit people.

Just euthanize this motherfucker already. What a useless tease of a player who will never amount to anything.

He was a China doll with the Cubs as well (an an awful defender and teammate) yet the Sox acted like they pulled wool over everyone’s eyes in the Cuntana deal. Losing Cease of course hurt

I'm ok w/ losing Cease. Theo hyped him up as the next Maddux but he's not that. He's a solid starter but has had some really bad outings this season. Sort of reminds me of Hendricks.

As for Eloy, he's that guy who can't stay on the field. Guys like that will have that one year where they won't get hurt and put up some monster numbers. He'll probably hit like 50 hrs when he has that year in his career.

General manager Rick Hahn said Thursday that Jimenez (hamstring) had his rehab assignment paused due to "normal leg soreness," Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Hahn emphasized that Jimenez hasn't experienced a setback in his recovery, but the outfielder will get several days off before resuming his rehab assignment. The White Sox are hopeful that Jimenez will be able to return to minor-league game action early next week, and it's possible that he'll be in the mix to be activated from the injured list next weekend.
Not a setback, but he will be out for several days due to something normal?

WTF

I'm just about done with him. Just make him a DH and hope for the best. If he doesn't want to DH, then trade his ass and let someone else deal with his physical and mental fragility.

The savior for the offense will be back soon....

In 38 at bats in Charlotte, Eloy has ZERO extra base hits.

Anderson, Abreu and Robert need to hit and hit for power. They are on track to combine for 40 home runs in a season.

I don't think Anderson needs to be your power guy. If he can hit 15 HRs thats pretty good with what else he gives you offensively.

Moncada, Grandal, Abreu, Eloy, and to a lesser extent Robert. That is where the power failure is this season.

Arron Judge as 28 homers. Schwarber has 21, Rizzo 20. The Sox as a team have 59. Reds, Cubs, Pirates, Orioles, and Marlins are all among the teams that have more.

He’s working on stuff. No need to show the power yet.

He’s a professional athlete with world class hand-eye coordination. Granted he runs into the occasional wall from time-to-time, but this is a guy who can pinpoint the location of a sphere moving at 95mph on two planes and send it 450ft away with a round stick.

He can do all of that and get injured running to first base.

Limped off the field after running to make a catch. Probable torn calf.
