Exactly. Being a "bullpen day" starter or a playoff long relief guy is perfect for him right now.

And maybe he really is fixed and you can start to rely on him more.

That'd be a pretty nice surprise.

I think its a pretty sure thing that he has developed into something useful at the major league level. Which is nice, because this time last year it was looking like time to stick a fork in him.

Hell I saw him pitch for Charlotte in Durham in June and he looked like toast. But he must have been working in whatever Katz was telling him to do.

Also drafted in that 1st round, Zach Collins. I think Hahn wants that draft back

Collins and Burdi look like big leaguers. They’ve shown flashes. Just can’t seem to be consistent. Collins just can’t make enough contact.

Closing in on a representative postseason lineup. I’m kind of happy in hindsight guys like Goodwin and Clam were forced to play meaningful innings all summer.
