I think LaRussa has very specific ideas about the things he wants a catcher to do. He has to look the other way with Grandal because of A) his bat and B) his contract. I doubt of LaRussa had been around at the time, that the Sox would have signed Grandal.

Giolito threw a lot of pitches last night but looked sharp most of the time. Anderson had an error on kind of an in between hop, but he looked healthy as well. I was also glad to see guys like Fry, Burr, and Ruiz in last night's game. No need to use the regular arms when you're up 5-6+ runs.

I don't think Keuchel makes the playoff roster, but it would be nice to see him get right in case somebody gets hurt and they end up needing him should they advance to the CS/WS.

I don't like our DH options when they have to face good pitching every night. I think we will be at a disadvantage at the position versus every team. Who knows though, maybe the much needed rest replenishes Vaughn.

TA and Eloy in the field is also worrisome. Lopez was absolutely fucked over by the defense yesterday starting with TA. He needs to play enough to be in rhythm defensively by the playoffs.
