Sox had a good defensive catcher who handled a staff nicely, maybe even great, and Jerry wouldn't pay him. Team was bounced in the first round and the staff had an 8 ERA.

An actual prospect who for multiple years is a truly great player is rare.
Still too early to check off a lot of Sox prospects as failures.

There could be a possibility of "zero" current Cubs prospects
being great players with their putrid history of talent evaluation.

Grandal and Eloy are both DH's. I'm assuming they made this deal because Reese can actually field and handle the pitching staff. If that's the case.....fine. The more games Grandal is at DH the better.
