Dunno if San Diego folks finally figured out that a night out at Petco is among the best things to do in that town or if Covid has brought the rest of league down to Padre level attendance. But good to see San Diego among the tops in attendance. Perfectly pleasant experience--which might be San Diego's tagline--attending a game at Petco.

But Wrigley is so cozy. Makes me want to put a Cubbie hat on a gravestone.

Petco's not the best ballpark, but the location and the way they integrated it into the surrounding downtown community without turning it into Wrigleyville has an organic sorta feel to it. Going to a ballgame after work or on a weekend before going out is easily done at Petco. Whereas Citi you're pretty much going to Flushing for the game and then leaving that area to go somewhere else afterward for whatever. Although Flushing's Chinatown to the East(?), across Van Wyck/678/the creek/crick on Roosevelt you're pretty much there, is fun anytime. Just keep an eye on your wallet in the bars in Flushing's Chinatown. The Asian whores filling those places are expert pickpockets.

Petco is fantastic....ballpark and neighborhood / experience.
