I wonder what it would cost to sign Cueto for next year. It's definitely risky as he has been nowhere near this good over the last few years but man does that guy have huevos, unlike just about everyone else on this team

It is crazy how bad this division is, but it's getting close enough to the end, that "the math" is working against them (along with the Sox being bad).

Sox have 31 games left. If they went 20-11 (which is a pace they haven't hit in a season and a half, and seems damn near impossible), Cleveland would need 17-16 to be tied at the end. Sox do have 9 against the Twins, and 4 against Cleveland. Maybe they can setup a shrine to Jobu in the locker room. At least LaRussa won't be around to drink the rum.
