The lack of situational hitting with this team is beyond worrisome

Do you bring him back out for the 8th?

Vaughn. TLR needs to have him in the lineup every day.

That’s two automatic outs right now. I’m not sure where you put those outs, but there’s probably an argument for separating them.

Vaughn should be getting as many ABs as possible. I’d consider him at 2 right now.

Grandal hitting 5th is worthless. He adds nothing right now.

It’s a real shame I have to hate TA now because that would have been cool if I liked him.

Holding the Yanks to 1 over 18 innings is nothing short of spectacular

I loved the Cueto signing. This rotation is loaded.

In Tim Anderson's few minute post game comments yesterday I counted him saying "you know" 16 times.

good day of baseball

other than Keuchel, the Sox owned that weekend on the road against a team that had only lost one home series prior.

as far as donaldson goes

I'm not sure whether he intended something overtly racist. However, it was undoubtedly racial and when you make a racial comment to someone who you don't like, don't be surprised if he takes it in its worst possible light.

saturday is a day as well, and other than Keuchel giving up his standard six runs, the Yankees scored one that day, while the sox scored five

Kopech, Cease, Giolito, Lynn, Cueto. With Keuchel and Velasquez for depth. I don't think Keuchel is going to hit that innings mark. Cueto looks good beyond the results. The stuff is there.

I reluctantly agree about Cueto. The ball moves, he paints corners and he knows pitching. I hope it isn't a mirage.

Have to keep him fresh. Skip a start here and there. He and Lynn are fun to watch. Real pitchers. This rotation is exciting. I have to believe they will hit. Second base is a sore spot, but I bet they get someone there via trade.

You know what I like about him most? That being on the mound is the last place he wants to be. "Aw fuck, these guys just keep coming up. All I want to do is get these fuckers out so I can take off this damn cap."
