I'm trying to keep an attitude similar to this, but they've been a .500 team for almost a full season at this point. They aren't scoring enough runs, and now one a few guys that has been hitting is hurt. If TA is out significant time, and it's a super sized portion of Mendick or Leury at SS......

YOU WERE RIGHT!

I had the opinion that they would be the same. A one and done playoff team no matter the record. I was also hoping 1 or 2 teams in the Central would push them to be more competitive.

They are 5 back of that team. They are 0-3 against that team.

Not sure where to post this, but this thread is as good of place as any to describe how bad the offense is...

Sox have had 33 AB's with the bases loaded this season, and 3 hits.... 33 times with the pitcher having "no place to put them", and their OPS is .275.

That’s what happens when more than half of the lineup is far below the Mendoza line.
