Mendick was playing his best baseball and looked like he would supplant Harrison and Garcia.

However, it does seem like it is time for Sosa. He's ascended over the past couple of years to the point his talent demanded being on an MLB roster. They have another guy like that who is a little bit older but he is probably only a 2B in MLB. They needed someone to cover three infield positions
