Sox are a good bet on the moneyline tonight.

Angels are favored -140 or some shit.

Sox are a .500 team. They get away from the microscope at home, relax and will beat the Angels tonight now that everyone thinks they suck.

Angels also coming off the big brawl vs Seattle yesterday.

Giolito is not great, but he also aint terrible. That 5.40 ERA is due to come down and that will happen tonight.

Bet Sox on the moneyline tonight!

Giolito giving up early runs. He should be so much better.

Timmay looked really good scoring from 1st on that double.

Credit where its due, Giolito putting together a nice start after early trouble.

Not a unique take on my part, but this team just does every “little thing” poorly. Relays, tags, baserunning. All bad. They aren’t great at the big things either……

Yeah. I still think they'll win the division. Cuz our division sucks and our talent will eventually run it down. But they suck at the little things. It's frustrating.

AJ Pollock another useless player. OPS down to .647. Did Hahn do anything good this off-season? Pollock, Kelly, Harrison, Velasquez.

Another example of taking a good pitcher out too early.

WTF? Renaldo Lopez in the 7th?

This is terrible managin'.

The one area they really spent on was the bullpen, and it's been a disaster. The areas they went cheap on such as 2nd base have predictably blown-up on them. The lack of focus on the little things has been annoying in a season where it clearly matters since the talent isn't making up for it.

6.5 games back of the playoffs on June 28th.

Absolutely, positively pathetic.

Boston has caught fire . If the Sox don’t win the division they probably don’t make the playoffs .

Luis Robert has a .733 OPS good for 86th in baseball, that's a decent number but I remember when you idiots were touting him for league MVP

In 181 games he has 31 HR, 110 RBI, 26/30 SB, an .816 OPS and plays a premium defensive position at the age of 24 and it wasn't just Sox fans touting him as pre season candidate

You do realize one season was 60 games right?

That is still 294 games over that time frame in which he's played in 60% of them. Gotta play more if you are going to be MVP or a sure lock for the HOF as the bumper humper claims.

I think we’re looking at this the wrong way. This team will always be injured; they’re getting those injuries out of the way now so they’ll be healthy down the stretch.

Eloy, Moncada, Grandal’s eyes, everyday TA, MVP LouBob…83 wins will get them in and then nobody will want to play them.

I’m back on board.

My quote says it will win an MVP, not that he is a lock for Cooperstown. If you want my come back Bob, you will have to scrape it off of your mother's teeth.

Lets break this down.

Sox have played 72 games, so they have 90 left. To get to 83 wins, they would have to go 49-41 from here on out. 85 wins, 51-39. 90 wins, 56-34.

49-41 is doable, but I don't think 83 wins is going to win this division.

Twins have 87 games left. They can go 41-46 and win 83. They can go 43-44 from here on out and win 85.

I think 88 wins takes the division. Sox need to get hot now. They also have a stretch of 13 out of 17 games against the Twins and Cleveland coming up soon. At worst, Sox have to go 9-4 over those 13 games.
