Sox 10-3 vs Tigers this year. They need to sweep em but that aint happenin'. Why? Because even in the most lopsided rivalries, the bad team usually wins 5 or 6 games a year. That means the Tigers still have a few wins in them vs the Sox. I say the Tigers win 2 of 3 here.

Well, he did fail at the number one task of a starting pitcher- not allowing the other team to score before your team does. The team that scores first wins about 2/3 of the time.

I think the scheduled pitchers for the upcoming Cleveland series are Cease, Lynn, Giolito. I would change Giolita to Cueto or even Joe Kelly.

Is he dead? Cooked? Finished? Start Tyler Banks instead? What should we do with Giolito and his 3.44 ERA the last 3 games? Throw him off a roof?

The Sox are supposedly in a divisional playoff race and he is not a guy who can count on. If that means start Banks, do it. Sox will go no better than 1-2 in his final 2 starts which means they can only lose one game otherwise and still have a chance.
