Silly BRogue has watched enough Sox games and has posted in this section enough to know that MANY fans put blame on the players as well as the manager and front office.

And if you wanted to play devil's advocate, the Sox are three games under .500 right now. They have 33 games left. If the Sox can somehow muster a 16-17 record or better, than you can say Cairo got more out of this team than LaRussa.

We all knew Tony would "Step Away" from the team after the 2022 season, regardless of how it ended. This just gives the Sox a chance to put a positive spin on it.

Stop. Hahn acted within the guidelines and finance derivatives of upper management and ownership. If he had an ounce of integrity, he would have resigned in May. Any legitimate front office would have fired their manager before Memorial Day, and would have made whatever moves they could have at the trade deadline to improve.

We'll never know....but we do know that Jerry, Kenny, or Jerry+Kenny meddle and / or place barriers whenever they feel like it.

Hahn deserves scrutiny. He's done nothing that warrants confidence or praise. It appears that he's gone 1 for 3 on trades on the last rebuild. That being said....hiring TLR is almost guaranteed to not be his doing. In terms of the 2022 roster...we have no idea what kind of parameters he had to work with. Yes...the team went worse from 2021, but this organization has proven time and time again it's more than the GM fucking shit up.
