Parkins and Spiegel are reaching here....stirring the pot for the sake of radio talk. The public demand for return of manager Ozzie Guillen isn't as loud as they're making it out to be.

I would take Stone's negative comments as coming straight from Jerry and Kenny indicating they're not interested.

Ozzie isn't the answer here, but no single manager is. Funny thing though, even if today's game has passed Ozzie by, he'd by an upgrade over the 3 managers they've had since he left :lol:

Ozzie has an incredibly short shelf life. I contend that if they had fired LaRussa in June and brought in Ozzie as interim, the Sox make the playoffs.

"Elite" Aaron Bummer gives up another leadoff hit allowing the tying run to score.

If there is a GM out there as dumb as Hahn or JOrr who both believe that Bummer is some sort of great setup guy, the Sox might get a nice haul in return.
