Hawk only called Sunday home games during his last season. There is no way he should not have been allowed to continue to do just that. I listened to the entire thing.

The biggest part of this is how he destroyed Brooks Boyer.

He basically said that Brooks is the one that convinced Reinsdorf to fire him. Then he said that Jerry's word used to mean something. Which I took as Jerry telling Hawk that he could do this as long as he wanted. Then changed his mind cuz of Brooks Boyer. So Hawk is really pissed at Brooks. But it sounds like he doesn't like Jerry anymore. Hawk used to always rave about Jerry. He loved him.

Hawk said that the Sox were a good organization until Brooks got there. Brooks has been there for 20 years or so. Which means Hawk didn't like things for 15 years.

Anyway, Hawk said he'll tell the entire story in his book. It's gonna be all about his White Sox days. Nothing else but that.
