3rd time in four years the Sox have lost the season series to the Royals, who currently have 101 loses and have used 22 starting pitchers so far this season.

17% (7) of KC's 41 wins have come against the White Sox. The Royals do not have more than 3 wins against any other MLB team.

The White Sox were outscored 56-27 this year at Kauffman Stadium.

But yeah, lets bring Grifol back next year.

The stats suggest he's been at least a little bit lucky, but they absolutely need bodies on the mound for next year and they should sign him. However, I don't know if he'll agree to the mutual option. They probably will have to sign him for multiple years.
