I think we should all know what Kenny's fingerprints look like. He was aggressive within the confines of a shitty White Sox budget. Every year he was swinging for the fences, and that allowed us to luck into 2005. The running joke is every HoF player from the 90s played for the Sox. Kenny was that guy. He probably checked on Ted Williams' head and Babe's skeleton.

I've never seen a Chicago GM/coach/owner avoid scrutiny like Hahn. If his media savvy matched his abilities as a GM, the Sox would be positioned to win a WS for the rest of this decade. Unfortunately for him, he's finally boxed himself in.

And as long as they are still there its the same show next year and next rebuild just substitute Chris Getz or whoever the next future midlevel gm star in waiting there is. Though maybe a better combo of Rick and Kenny could have spent 50 million on a BP with an era below 7 or whatever it is.
