Isn't that why the Rays want out of Tampa (technically St Petersburg, I think)? tired of playing baseball in an overgrown bounce house.

I think they want out because nobody gives a shit, mostly due to the lack of a fan base in the Tampa-St. Pete area.

They’re elderlies or transplants - a new open air park on the water won’t fix their issues.

What they really miss... is hockey.

Imagine a town that only watches a hockey team when they’re good…

Pathetic.

The White Sox aren't anywhere. Jerry's too old to broker a move. He wants to sell. Any new owner would want this team in Chicago over any other fucking option. Trust me. Yes, we don't draw as well as the Cubs. But they get like 20,000 in bad years. 25,000 in good years.

A new owner will build a new stadium. Maybe in Chicago. Maybe the suburbs. The biggest percentage of Sox fans comes from the western suburbs. Maybe they go out there.

There is enough room in Arlington Heights to have two stadiums. Bears and Sox. Sox should call the Bears for half the land and they can be partners in building the surrounding area with Bars and restaurants.

I don't deserve this.

You already have Johnnie's Beef... I'm moving back next year, I might consider AH just for that.

This is what you get for crying about public stadiums and how bad it is for the cities.

You should be cheering for one team building their own stadium and another potentially moving to it too as a tenant.
