Why the hell not? He might want it. He likes Chicago. Jed is his drinking buddy. So they can hang out again. Jerry is gonna sell the team on 3 years according to Steve stone’s twitter. So you tell Theo to get a World Series in 3 years. Christ, he’s the best candidate. Jerry should give it to him. If he says no, fine. But he should be the target. Could be another notch for Theo. He did the Red Sox and cubs with their curses. Now he can get two in one city with 2 teams. |

You need to go Billy Beane style. Maybe Hahn was an attempt at that but it seemed like he tried to Epstein his way back to the WS. If you're the discount team in the city you need to have a discount approach to roster building. |

The Sox are basically a half step up from a place like Tampa or Milwaukee. The Sox are going to have to hire someone who is a GM under a president of baseball opps or someone lower down the totem pole. |

He knows how loyal he has been to his employees for the most part. Kenny and Rick had jobs for a couple of decades with mostly bad seasons. |
