Maybe if Bauer had taken a conviction (not like voluntarily, but if he'd been convicted of something) and served time, in prison or on paper/probation, and then came back if there'd be more, i dunno, forgiveness? Michael Vick made a comeback, ffs.

He would be hands-down, the best pitcher on the White Sox right now if they signed him.

Dumb AF but that might be a way he could get passed all this BS and get back to pitching in MLB: I'm sorry. I've no idea what I did wrong; but it seems you all need this apology from me for giving a girl the best night of her life, so here it is. Can I play ball now?

I could be wrong, but I don't think he is on the restricted list any longer. Teams can sign him if they want.

Yeah, 1 year suspension cut down from the original 2. Dodgers should sign Bauer as a way to distract everyone from Ohtani's gambling issues.
