It’s not all about the offense. Ethan Katz has this pitching staff rolling. Team ERA of 5.14 but 7.2 in the last 8 games. I get that the roster is full of minor league players at best but they are getting worse with every start. I think this staff would be better off without a pitching coach. I still can’t understand how this guy has a job - any job really. He should just be unemployed for the rest of his life.

Hahn was by no means great. But if he had the ability to spend like a major market team, I suspect the Sox would be competitive more times than not. When you trade a guy like Cease because you know you cannot pay him, you have no shot at consistent success.

JERRY runs a clown show, but when Hahn did spend, he spent poorly. Grandal, Benintendi, Leury, Joe Kelly...I could go on and on. These are all guys signed/extended on his watch who have absolutely sucked. While I firmly believe that Jerry/Kenny lay out an outline as to how the club will spend, its up to the GM to operate within those confines. More money would help, but what money the Sox have spent has essentially been wasted over the last 10+ years.

Jerry's teams- Sox and the Bulls- are not legitimate organizations and nothing will change until he dies. And as morbid or mean as it may sound, I hope that's tomorrow.
